Alert Technology Ltd is proud to support Global Action Plan’s Clean Air Day – 8th October 2020.
Clean Air Day’s objective is to bring communities, businesses, schools and the health sector together to raise awareness of how air pollution impacts our health and how we can all work together to tackle it.
The World Health Organisation and UK Government recognise that air pollution is the largest environmental health risk we face today, causing up to 36,000 deaths in the UK every year. Poor air quality is particularly detrimental to children, potentially impacting the development of their lungs and causing health issues such as asthma, allergies, and lung diseases.
