School Report gives PureAir R150 “top marks”!
The R150 recently went back to school in Germany in a study that showed a 60 to 77% reduction in airborne particle concentration in classrooms with the unit on 50% power. This decrease can reduce the risk of indirect transfer of finer aerosol particles in ambient air, which will help lessen virus load and reduce the severity of the potentially emergent COVID-19 infections in closed indoor environments. Poor air quality is particularly detrimental to children, potentially impacting the development of their lungs and causing health …
Alert Technology launches ‘ALERT PureAir’ – a new virus-killing purification unit to celebrate “Clean Air Day” 8th October
Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) is a growing environmental health and wellbeing risk faced by most building occupiers today. Recognised as one of the largest environmental risks we face by WHO (World Health Organisation) – it is known that general air pollution causes over 3 million deaths globally per year and 3 million lost working days in the UK. It appears there’s little reprieve indoors either, with UK campaigners calling our highly insulated, poorly ventilated, energy efficient homes and buildings “toxic boxes” where the air inside can be up to 3 times worse than outside.[1] Air pollution contributes to lung …
World Lung Cancer Day 2020
Alert Technology Ltd is proud to support World Lung Cancer Day 2020 through our continued work to reduce the risk of exposure to asbestos, a global cause of lung cancer. Lung cancer continues to be one of the most common cancers worldwide, claiming more lives yearly than breast, colon and prostate cancers combined. It is estimated that lung cancer accounts for nearly one in five cancer deaths globally.* *Source: www.cancerhealth.com #LivingWithLungCancer …
